Beech Smoked Dulse


Ruairidh Morrison and Melanie Brown of the North Coast Smokehouse handcraft and produce all their cold-smoked sea salt in small batches, in the picturesque little coastal town of Ballycastle. Each batch is individually and lovingly monitored by the couple, and you can really taste that love!

Their famous “smokiness” is produced the old fashioned way, by simply burning small quantities of beech and combining with the perfect combination of temperature, time and fresh sea air. . . imparting their wonderful flavours and colours on surrounding natural sea salt.

It is just sea salt and smoke—no anti-caking agents or anything else. Try for yourself!

A super deli will an amazing ethos. Locally sourced, independent suppliers and sublime foods all from the isle of Ireland. Definitely worth a visit for some goodies or one of their bespoke hampers!
